This is probably a title that attracted some attention and it should. Believe it or not this post isn’t actually about making any kind of money with your blog or even NOT making money with your blog. It’s well worth the read so read on.

Penny

I don’t know about you but I see pennies every day of my life on the road and even in my couch. They’re everywhere and they’re all the same. Same color and same size and they’re all worth the same too. But, they all add up very quickly and before you know it you have a small bit of cash in your hand. Of course pennies don’t add up very large amounts of money but they’re still worth something and money is money after all. Bottom line, they’re small and worth the least but they’re every where and easy to find.

Nickel

No harder to spot than your penny but the nickel is worth 5 cents and adds up much quicker because of this. You can probably find these in all the same places and they’re all the same color as well. Nothing more to these except they add up much quicker.

Dime

Not much more to add here. The dime is worth 5 more cents than nickel is and can be found in all the same places as well. Just more money.

Quarter

This guy is worth quite a bit more than even the dime and is a bit harder to find. You can still pick these up pretty easily but even so, you won’t find these every where. A cool thing about the quarter is that these are popular for more use like washing machines and candy machines in the mall and such too!

Ah… The Dollar

I’m talking about a paper dollar here, not the coin. The coin is even more rare as far as I know so we’ll stick with the paper dollar and that’s exactly why. You can find a dollar laying on the street or something as well but finding a dollar just lying around isn’t likely to happen so much as other money as mentioned before here. The dollar adds up a lot faster than all of these combined because it’s worth much more.

What does all of this have to do with your blog?

You decide.

What do you want to get out of your blog or better yet, what do you want your reader to get out of your blog? Do you want to be everywhere and easy to find like the penny or much harder to find but worth a lot more like the dollar?

Personally I would like to know that I’m both. In fact, better yet I would really like to know that I’m just a little bit of all of the coins put together.

I want to be easily found like the penny which can be picked up pretty much anywhere and is worth something the more places you find one as they add up quickly.

I want to be in the same position as the nickel as it’s worth a bit more than the penny and still very easily found.

I want to be like the dime where I can just as easily be found once again and add up even faster yet.

I also would love to be like the quarter and add up even quicker and be discovered even more places as well as valuable to even more of a variety of different people with different needs.

And I would absolutely and completely love to be like the dollar bill which kicks all their asses in value and is just a bit harder to be found but still hold a place around the web when all the change is added up over time.

You can find any of these coins pretty much anywhere, literally. They all have their own value to you and they all add up quicker than one another. The dollar is much more valuable and is a bit harder to find, however.

Strive to be in each group and remain focused on your objective to the people who give you that value each day. They determine what you’re worth and how easy you are to be found. Give them value and work your ass off and soon, possibly, hopefully, just maybe your blog will go from the value of a penny into a nickel and all the way clear up to the dollar bill and more!

Your Computer Problems

There are a number of different people all over the world who use computers on a regular basis. Sometimes you use computers at work, at home, on the go or just about anywhere else.

Along with the number of ways these machines are used are just about the same amount of problems you probably hear about people having with them every day. This quit working, that went out, I pressed the “wrong” button and so fourth. All of this makes me wonder why people even buy a computer if they don’t know how to use it and have no intention to learn how to use it because they’re too busy complaining about how it doesn’t work.

The problem with everyone’s computer isn’t their computers, it’s them. You might be wondering how that can be when something as simple as a virus can sneak up and get into your computer. If you had the right software for your computer and spent some time learning how to use it effectively and actually used it for what it’s worth you probably wouldn’t have that virus. On the same note these kinds of things can still happen even with the learning and the doing you put into your computer.

With that being said how is it still possible that it’s your fault? What if someone actually hacked into your computer without your knowledge? That just isn’t your fault. It just happens, right?

Yeah. It just happens. But how is that even explainable considering they didn’t attack every computer in the world? Just yours. Think about that for a minute.

If I’m coming across too harsh, well, that’s too bad. I am saying all of this because it’s true. In life, even with your computer, stuff can just happen. That’s perfectly true. However, if you actually take the time and do whatever it takes to make sure everything is running correctly and put fourth the effort and knowledge into each task at hand you’re going to be a lot better off.

I’m not an expert when it comes to computers. I’m not even an expert when it comes to open source, Linux, Ubuntu, Windows, Mac, PC, this, that, any of it. This is just what I have learned and experienced from my own thoughts, actions, and doings throughout my life.

It’s Your Fault You Have Computer Problems. What Can You Do?

Help Yourself

This answer is a lot more simple than you may realize. What you can do and should do is simply take action. That’s it. Make it as simple as starting with a piece of paper and a pencil. Writing down what it is you think you know about computers and then write down what you want to learn about computers. From there just write down what you actually know about computers.

But how do you find out if what you know for a fact about computers is true information? This is where the REAL action is at. You simply find out. Take apart your computer if you want to and look inside. Honestly the worst that’s going to happen is that when you put your computer back together something messes up so bad that nothing works. Your computer is toast. If you’re worried about this (I know I would be) then find someone who knows about computers, ask them what they know and have them prove it (if they’re legit they will) and then have them help you.

Note here how I said have them “help you”. That’s right. Don’t just let them go off and do their own thing without explaining to you exactly what it is there doing and why their doing it. Make them show you what it is their doing so you understand the process. Hey, you’re doing this at all to learn more so you actually can find out what you know in the first place, right? If you know how to do all of this yourself then I encourage you to go for it!

What You Shouldn’t Do.

This is going to sound a bit odd but what you really shouldn’t do is keep sitting there on your butt and read the rest of this and do nothing about learning what the deal is with computers. If you have actually taken my advice here then you’re not reading this part and I can pretty much say whatever I want.

If however, you’re like most people, you’re still sitting there waiting for what you are going to be told to do next because you are actually interested in what I have to say. If this is true, thanks!

No Really, What You Shouldn’t Do.

Don’t waste your time and money taking your computer into the repair shop. That’s for cars. But they have to earn a living too and it’s their specialty. Yeah, you’re right. And how do you think they got good enough at what they do to earn a living doing it? It’s because they didn’t go to a shop and have someone take care of it for them and waste a but load of money. They actually took action upon themselves (this is the don’t be lazy part) and actually tried. Once they figured it out they realized they didn’t need someone else to help them with their problems.

Now they joke about their computer issues with their buddies and how people come into the store and want their computer fixed and how they are paid to do just that.

It may sound like I’m being a bit mean here but I’m really not. Hear me out. If you actually take the time and consideration to learn about computers or at least your computer and find out what’s going on, you’ll be one step ahead of the crowd and you just won’t need to depend on someone else when it come to what you should do and what’s going on.

People Help Others Out… It’s About The Community, Right?

Yes. And if you learn what to do with your own computer you can nicely help someone else out and explain how they can learn too

Wait, wait, wait… Wouldn’t that mean you should find someone who knows more and actually have them teach you about what to do though? Yes. Isn’t that what you just said not to do because they’re paid to do that and you should learn on your own instead? Well, yes, and no.

You should not take your computer to get it fixed. You should instead talk with someone who knows more about computers than you do and ask them if they wouldn’t mind teaching you about computers. Once you know, you can certainly help another lost soul.

The Problem Is You… All The Way To The End Of The Yellow Brick Road.

As I stated above, the problem is always you. I could add a lot more to this and just might write an E-Book about this in the future but what it comes down to is just you. If your computer gets a virus learn to take care of it. If you’re truly stuck on what to do: Ask. Learn something. The next time it happens take care of it yourself.

You might feel as though I left a lot out of here that I could have added but as I also stated above I will probably write an E-book on the topic.

I have finally landed a job. It’s through a Temp service called Express Employment Professionals and I truly enjoy what I do. Where I actually work at every day (5 days a week, 8 hours a day, right now ) is Helena Industries. I know how to do the job well and I do it well. It’s quite fun and I am happy to have a job again after not having worked for quite some time now. This is going to be a short post but I wanted to post something becuase it has been so long. We’ll see where things go from  here and I’ll kep you posted!

Okay, I am just going to give you all a bit more advice before I stop posting stuff like this on here. I say that because I would rather post stuff on my blog that I like and recommend rather than post something on here that I am warning you to stay away from. Negative signals just don’t sell well. Anyway, www.zml.com may or may not be trusted. I don’t know. I looked up some reviews and saw good and bad which is actually what you want to see anyway. I also found some websites that said the site is a scam and after your credit cards. Who knows. I haven’t used the site but almost did and don’t have an intention of doing so anymore simply because it does sound too good to  be true, to me. If you have used it or try it out and it isn’t a scam and works as it says, please contact me at eric@bluepop13.com and let me know so that I may give it a try myself. Why would I rather put someone up for the risk? I am not offering to do that at all actually. It is your choice if you decide to try it since reviews and comments are out there already about it. If you do give it a shot and it doesn’t go well then you learned a lesson. If you give it a shot and it does go well then you can inform me and I might even give it a try. It is simply my choice to decide not to do it right now until I’ve heard something positive from an actual customer. Hell, I’ll even post a new review about it that supports it if I do try it out if someone contacts me who has given it a try and has had a positive time with it.

It’s  been a long while since I’ve posted anything on here and after reading what I just did it reminded me how many people are actually falling for scams all over the internet. So, I thought I would just take a few moments and let be known a scam I just found and help stop people from making the decision to actually be stupid enough to give out actual hard earned money for something they probably already know they absolutely cannot trust.

www.JoshMadeCash.com is a complete and total scam and waste of your time. Thing about it people… If making this kind of money was truly this easy why wouldn’t everyone be doing it? With the economy so bad right now the way things are, if this were real it would have people jumping at it and everyone would be filthy rich. It’s fake and stupid and needs to be shut down. Now I can’t shut it down and I have no intention of doing so myself. What I do want to happen is help people be smarter about falling for something like this by informing them as I find things like this.

Another scam site is this: www.Marylifeblog.com. Again, a scam. Don’t fall for it!

Well, I thought it was time for another update. There’s not a whole lot I have to say today but I will do my best to give you something interestingly enough to hopefully keep your interest. Larry Winget of www.larrywinget.com has another book coming out and to be released on August 25 and I can’t wait. It’s called No Time For Tact. Cool name I think along with the rest of his books, in my opinion. I own the following books of his: You’re Broke Because You Want To Be, It’s Called Work For a Reason, Shut Up, Stop Whining, And Get a Life, and People Are Idiots And I Can Prove It! Wonderful books I think. I read right through them all and enjoyed them so much I’m reading them again. Great advice in those and if I actually start taking his advice I’m sure I’ll be better off than where I’m currently at!

On another note I’m a bit saddened today as I watched the last 2 episodes of Boy Meets World I had downloaded and now am going to have to find another good show to watch. Boy Meets World is a great TV show in my opinion. I really enjoyed that show and wish they had done at least one more season.

Today I mostly hung out with my ex and with my roommate a bit and slep for about 6 hours. Before I slept, however, Samantha (my ex) and my roommate and his girlfriend all went to Wallmart to check out stuff and just hang out for a bit. It was fun. Samantha then found a phone she loved and wanted really bad but neither of us can afford it right now. We’re still in our two year contract and can’t get an upgrade just yet. She told me she would like to have that phone or the phone her mom just got. That would be easier to do than the phone she saw in the store.

As far as another topic goes we’re both working on staying strick with our budget now. I’m recording all our receipts in ynab and following the 4 rules so that we can actually save money and really make month-to-month truly work for us. It’s a work in progress that we’re going to have to make sacrifices in order to achieve but that’s how anything worth having goes in life.

I also got good news today, maybe. I got a call from Express Staffing Company and got the voicemail. They might have a job for me. Yeah it’s probably just something temporary but it’s money and it’s  better than nothing, honestly. In this economy having anything is better than nothing. I’m proud that Samantha has held her job and stuck it out through good and bad times. That’s a good thing and it’s great that she still has a job. A lot of people just don’t have jobs right now who’ve been working at their job for years more than she has. My roommate also has his job still which is a good thing. Those two are doing great. Now it’s time for me to get something, anything, and start on my way.

Okay that last update that I did didn’t exactly turn out the way I wanted it to. I started and got sidetracked and left for a bit. When I got back home I was too tired to do anything more with it so I crashed and that was it.

I’ve been taking Samantha to this gas station out in the country where I used to live after I pick her up from work every day. For a whole week she basically couldn’t eat as she and I both have been going through some stuff. One day last week she was able to eat just fine. They have the best breakfast pizza around. In fact, I don’t know where you can get better breakfast pizza if you actually tried looking! She has been really down and I’ve been there trying to lift her spirits a little bit along her side because I care about her that much. As you very well may already know I’ve been really down with heartbreak after our breakup and such. Well, she’s done a little bit for me here and there that’d cheered me up a bit as I’ve done for her. I’m just talking about giving her a few bites of my pizza that she loves so much while we were there eating and it made her very happy. In return, a small kiss for me which was very nice. Okay, this may sound all lovey-dovey to you but trust me it’s no where near where it could be with how her and I used to be when we were actually together… Trust me.

I’ve been thinking about things here and there and stuff has recently happened that’s changed my entire oulook on things. I can’t yet say (if I end up saying at all on here) how exactly I feel about everything but for the most part things have gotten just a little bit hotter. I’ll just leave it at that. Anyway, that’s my update so far… I’ll be back as always.

I don’t have much time for a long post tonight unfortunately. Yeah, I love write a lot about how I feel. Oh well, there are other days for a lot of that.

Today was actually a pretty good day for me. I’d rather not go to the lenghts of saying it was a great day for fear that tomorrow could turn for the worst. I’m funny that way. I picked up Samantha and took her (as usual every so many days after she gets off work in the morning) out into the country to a gas station where they have the best breakfast pizza I’ve found anywhere. She loves it and it makes me happy to see her happy. On top of that she hasn’t been…
